We are seeking a creative and dedicated individual capable of developing actionable plans for major social media platforms to create brand awareness and revenue for our clients. A suitable candidate for this position must be acquainted with the working of all major social media platforms and formulate ideas by researching and sourcing.As a Social Media Manager you will be responsible for the entire social media activities of our clients including management of online handles,establishing good relationships with influencers and compiling performance reports.You will be tasked with creating engaging content, campaign duties, budget management, and competitor analysis.

Responsibilities

As a social media manager, you’ll need to:

  • Develop creative and engaging social media strategies
  • Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Tiktok, and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels
  • Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms
  • Create engaging multimedia content with the team to serve multiple platforms
  • Develop, launch and manage new campaigns that promote brands
  • Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
  • Undertake audience research
  • Manage and facilitate social media campaigns by responding to social media posts
  • Monitor, track, analyze and report on performance on social media platforms using tools.
  • Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques to find new and better ways of measuring effectiveness.
  • Analyze competitor activity
  • Recommend improvements to increase performance
  • Set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement and achieve them
  • Manage, motivate, and train junior staff.
  • Manage a budget for social media activities
  • Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within your company
  • Regularly liaise with clients.

  • Strong content writing, copywriting, and editing skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful tweet to use effective storytelling techniques.

Qualification
