As a digital agency copywriter, you will carry out project scoping, identify new aspects of copyrighting and write for blogs, web pages, and ebooks. Your efforts must be collaborative and help win new clients or projects. You should make sure you review the impact of your work with the team.You will have to ensure the quality of the copy is met at all times when working with the creative team. As a professional Digital Agency Copywriter you are expected to multitask and handle criticism and feedback positively.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out project scoping and create a clear brief.
  • Tailor the content and style of individual writing assignments to the brief.
  • Work with creative teams to ensure that the copy complements visual elements and vice-versa.
  • Identify fresh and interesting angles for copywriting.
  • Write for web pages, blogs, social media, e-books, slogans, brochures, videos, etc.
  • Work with your team to review the impact of your work
  • Assist in business pitches to win new clients or projects.
  • Be comfortable managing several projects at once
  • Ability to handle criticism and feedback positively.
  • You’ll mostly be office-based, but face-to-face client meetings will usually take place in the office or at a place of their choosing.
Qualifications

Graduates and postgraduates with a qualification in marketing, journalism, or creative writing can be helpful but aren’t necessary. Experience in copywriting across digital campaigns is a mandatory requirement.

  • Ability to write in different styles and other people’s directions.
  • Good research and analytical skills to gain an accurate understanding of the subject.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, often to tight deadlines.

  • Good attention to detail, including the ability to proofread your own and others’ work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills as you’ll be working with a range of clients as well as creative and marketing team members.
  • An understanding of digital marketing and search engine optimization (SEO).
