Business Development Manager

We’re seeking a qualified business development specialist to extend our market reach through discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right into the market, take the lead, and help brands build a stronger digital presence. Highly skilled at sales, this person will lead and inspire a team of like-minded go-getters to achieve our vision.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage both our existing sales pipeline and the development of new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company.
  • Take a lead role in developing new-business proposals and presentations that create and nurture opportunities and partnerships.
  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, close deals.
  • Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline for short/medium/long term in accordance with targets.
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks to achieve strategic goals.
  • Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics.
  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Prior experience of at least 5 years in a similar client-facing role preferably in a digital marketing agency..
  • Possess a strong understanding of digital marketing, marketing communication, and its implementation.
  • Should be creative with communication and marketing solutions for clients assigned.
  • Strong leadership skills, self-directed and the ability to multitask.
  • Successful track record in digital services sales and negotiation.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Logical, practical, and focused thinking.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources.
  • Calm, polite, and professional behaviour.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Reliable and self-motivated.
