Eligibility Criteria- A candidate with Pre-university degree of Higher Secondary School Degree (’10 + 2’ Pattern) from a recognized Central/State institution from an institution recognized by the Central or State Government in India, or any equivalent qualification from a university situated outside India, is eligible to apply for the course
- The candidate will be conferred with a degree in B.A, L.L.B/ B.B.A, L.L.B after successfully completing the regular course.
- Minimum of 47% marks in the qualifying examination (General)
- Minimum of 44% marks in the qualifying examination (OBC)
- Minimum of 42% marks in the qualifying examination (SC, ST & Cat-I)

Our teaching panel comprises experienced lawyers, litigators, and teachers with a minimum of 15
years of teaching and/or practice.The core faculty has 25 teaching members whilst 35 guest
lecturers
and 7 adjunct faculty complete our renowned list.
Ph.D. The minimum qualification of the tutors is an LLM degree and 60 % of the teaching staff
has
acquired a Ph.D.We have veterans from the legal sector as adjunct faculty to impart wisdom to
young
minds.
WLA teaching staff are encouraged to constantly upgrade their knowledge by attending national
and
international seminars and symposiums.
ADMISSION
- Candidates can enrol into the 2 courses offered by WLA which provides admission to B.A.,LL.B and B.B.A.LL.B (5 Years Integrated Degree Courses ) law programmes. Admission to the courses are given on the basis of WLAT scores.
- Candidates with a valid NET/JRF/SLET certificate need not appear for the admission test.To apply for WLA admission test, visit our admission portal and fill the online application form.
Admission Process
- Appear for WLAT and secure a valid score.
- Obtain WLAT cutoff marks.
- Eligible candidate(s) are required to register and participate in the compulsory WLAT counselling session.

WLA offers 2 full time LLB courses and has a sanctioned intake of 150 students under both streams for the current academic year. WLA, Bengaluru admission for the academic year 2022-23 will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

WORLD LAW SCHOOL,WLS
Established in 1982, WLS is Bengaluru’s 3rd Private Law Academy and the first to come under
Mysore
University.The law
school came into existence due to the efforts of the prominent civil litigator Mr. ABC.
Initially,
the law school
operated from the outskirts of Bengaluru City and was later shifted to its current location
in
1987.
Like every other law college of that time, WLS offered a 3-year LLB Degree program which was
replaced with a 5-year
integrated law degree program in 1997. The college has been affiliated with Karnataka State
Law
University(KSLU) since
2001 and was recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI) in 1997.
The 42-year-old law academy has already produced several legendary lawmakers and litigators
whose
interventions have
shaped our jurisprudence.We are aware of the weight of responsibility we bear on our
shoulders
and
are committed to
producing more exceptional lawyers and litigators as we did in the past.
We are one of the earliest law institutions to have embraced modernization in classrooms and
teaching methodologies.Our

The institute has set up a placement cell with required facilities for effective placements of students at the end of the course or after passing all the semesters. The students are trained in soft skills and professional skills required.

Hostel
Separate in-campus hostel facility is provided for boys and girls. All the rooms are furnished and spacious. Delicious food will be provided to hostellers at all times. Adequate measures are taken to ensure the safety and security of the students. Students wishing to stay outside the in-campus housing facilities can approach PGs.

Legal Aid Cell
As part of social commitment, our cell would visit nearby villages , collect details from villagers and make earnest efforts to solve their social and legal hurdles by providing legal assistance as per provisions of the law.
